| Review: | Purchased the tuning box for my 525d to give it the extra help it needed. Changed my car to a 123d and having exchanged e-mail with phpplus they offered me a step by step guide how to upload a new map. I've transferred the kit across which takes less than 3 minutes now (becoming a dab hand). I really like the fob function to enable me to switch it on or off to suit conditions or who may be behind the wheel.

| Review: | Drove to Hungary from North Wales and really felt that the car was in better shape than from off the forecourt, the ave mpg was around 39mpg, pretty pants, it is now normally around 50+mpg on a run from the on board computer, however that is about as accurate as a drunk monkey trying to hit a cows butt with a banjo, but the mpg has increased by around 15% in real terms. So more responsive and better mpg, couldn't ask for more.

| Review: | Although I had initial problems with my engine cutting out on hard acceleration, I found your after-sales service excellent, and the program your operative wrote for my CR1, cured the problem immediately. Although I feel that my CR1 does not now give me as much power as in original state, the performance increase is still very good. Iwould heartily recommend this product to any diesel owner.

| Review: | Fitting took me longer to remove the air filter to gain access to the cable that has to be unplug and also choosing a location to place the unit, than fitting the actual unit. Setup was very easy, started a setting 5, ran the car for a number of miles, then changed to 7, ran a few more miles and then settled on 8. Average 43-44 mpg has changed to 53-54 mpg on the 5 day a week 25 mile each way commute, with one run of country main roads of 200 miles achieving 57.4 mpg. And yes there is additional power/torque. Overtaking on a familiar piece of road before fitting the unit would see upto 75 mph, now 80-85 is easily noted on the same section, before returning to legal speeds.
This product does what it claims.

| Review: | Sorry but it did not suit the engine very well(fiat 1.3 multijet with with comfort-matic auto gearbox)driven as a manual the perfomance was good but in auto mode, when the gearbox changes to an higher gear the revs drop right onto the turbo as it just starts to come on song and the engine starts to shake, it happened in 4th, 5th and 6th gears, so it made the vehicle un-drivable between 1700 and 2100 revs. I have since sold the unit to someone who has a corsa with the same engine fitted with a manual gearbox and he loves it. | Review: | A doodle to fit and does what it says on the box, now average 60mpg was 49/50. using map no 7 as I feel the higher ones push the power to far up the rev range for my driving style, but may yet try map 6 as I get the occasional stutter when engine cold? Well worth the cost, thank you Speedhawk.

Dean has sent me prog updates,for the box for Management lights, going into limp mode & flat spots as well as trying to improve the MPG...I'm currently running a revised Prog to sort flat spot's and MPG improvement..but as explained I'm getting a little frayed around the edges now with the whole thing. but I will persevere for a little longer and hope all works out.. It is a new car and I really want to enjoy it as you can appreciate!!..If these last program updates don't prove to be successful I shall be asking BHP for a refund..Knowing that you have done about as much as you can.Regards Alan Fountain

| Review: | Great box let down by cheap leads. The main connection to the box is poor, the quality of the plastic used to cover the lead is cheap and does nothing at the plugs where the wires are exposed.

Also improved performance and makes pulling out from a standing start easier as well as making the power delivery smoother throughout the rev range. No problems in fitting and no black smoke. | Review: | Fitted to a W204 Mercedes 200cdi. Initially had a problem traced to a faulty cable. Helpline was very good and new cable was received next day. The box has made the car much nicer to drive - smooth and much faster/torquey (still on 5). It always felt underpowered before especially on long hills etc but it now flies up them! Haven't done a real fuel check yet but have seen 50+ mpg on the computer - it's definitely not really doing that much but I do expect some improvement as it now needs a lot less throttle to build and maintain speed.
Now i've got used to the performance the csr feels horrible with the box switched off! So far, after 3 weeks use, I'm very pleased - hope that there wont be any longer-term problems.
